The customer is the reason for our existence - do not ever forget this!
We get paid as a company and as individuals for results, not excuses or
time expended.
Everybody gets paid to THINK! This is a contract business. It's about the
agreement!
Success is based 99% efforts and 1% brilliance.
Decisions are made to benefit the overall performance of
Stonewear, not
any individual or department.
Problems are brought out in the open to be solved, thus adjusting the
system so they do not recur, not so blame can be assigned.
We are open to vigorous debate and discussion on all matters concerning
Stonewear, but the emphasis is on how we can collect or generate more information to make
a better decision rather than who is the best orator.
Try to bring at least one solution to be discussed with every problem.
After debating a company issue, whether you were on the winning side or
not, your job is to support it 100% in your actions.
You have to take a chance and communicate. Everybody, up or down, should
be told when they are doing well and when they are not. Everybody can talk to anybody.
People want to do a good job. Bad systems are the cause of most problems.
Speak up if you think the system is flawed.
Respect for one another on Team Stonewear in verbal conversation, e-mail
and conduct is crucial because, in an economic sense, it IS we against the world.
Personal problems and personal joys are personal and should not be part
of your on going daily life at Stonewear.
Orderliness and cleanliness are the basis for efficiency, especially at
Stonewear, which is a muddy, dusty place.
Assignments, projects, tasks are assigned once. It is your responsibility
to complete them on time. It is also your responsibility to notify all parties concerned
when a project / job has gone off course and what is needed to get it back on track.
We are not organized in a way that provides the time to discuss your
inquiries on the telephone until the preliminary information is exchanged in writing.
