Dear Gary;
On June 11, 1999, the recently installed Stonewear 8’ Barcelona fountain on the reception patio of our new office building had the entire double crystal bowl and pedestal assembly knocked over by vandals. Additionally, a large concrete urn and a number of cast aluminum chairs were thrown into the fountain basin in an apparent attempt to cause further damage to the fountain. When I arrived on the scene, my first thought was that our beautiful fountain was destroyed.

What we were pleased to discover was that, upon righting the pedestal and bowl assembly, the damage was negligible. I had purchased the fountain based primarily on architectural and aesthetic requirements but am now tremendously impressed with, and thankful for, the strength and durability of the materials used to form the pedestal bowls, and basin. A less durable product would have been shattered by the vandals.

Our fountain is now back in full operation for all of our employees, building tenants, and visitors to enjoy. I’m' pleased to give my unqualified recommendation to Stonewear Inc, fountains. In fact, we're so pleased, we’re looking for a way to incorporate another Stonewear fountain in our next project.
